Yoga with Lilli

'Everyday is a great day for yoga.' 

Yoga cultivates health and wellbeing through the regular practice of a range of many different techniques, including postures and movement, breath awareness and breathing exercises, relaxation and concentration, self-inquiry and meditation.

Recognised as an ancient system of philosophies, principles and practices, yoga was derived from the Vedic tradition of India and the Himalayas, more than 2500 years ago.

Yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centres attention; and sharpens concentration.  A few physical benefits of yoga include: increased flexibility, increased muscle strength and tone, improved respiration, energy and vitality, balanced metabolism, weight reduction, cardio and circulatory health, improved athletic performance.

Lilli has been practicing yoga for the past 2 years.  Attending classes 3 times a week, Lilli loves the positive influence yoga emits.  

'There are so many different kinds of yoga practices, it is possible for anyone to start.  There are plenty of modifications for every yoga pose and level.'

Sitting at the top of the hill, practicing her yoga poses, Lilli wears the Suzie tights in onyx and her favourite BB piece - the Lilli Halter in Emerald Agate.
