A skirt was the first garment that was designed and subsequently made by Bec when she was just starting out at The Whitehouse Institute of Design.  A versatile garment that can be designed and styled in so many ways, it was an absolute must to include a skirt in the launch collection.

The mini skirt featured in BB’s launch collection has been named ‘The Laura Skirt.’

Bec and Laura met in high school and have had a friendship that has spanned over 10 years.  Whilst Bec was studying her Masters, the two girls shared an apartment together… Laura had to put up with Bec sporadically turning the apartment into a ‘factory,’ where she would have rolls of fabric, off cuts, threads and pins covering the floors, tables and lounges of the apartment.  Laura never fazed, was always interested and supportive with whatever Bec was creating.

For as long as Bec can remember, Laura has always loved and worn skirts.   She wears skirts to the office, on weekends, travelling, socialising, dresses them up with heels, or down with sneakers or flip flops – it was only fitting we designed her a skirt to suit her busy lifestyle and schedule.

The Laura skirt is great for wearing all day.  A streamline design, that’s comfortable, lightweight, doesn’t wrinkle, and features the perfect length.  Wear it to the office with loafers and switch to heels after 5.  Wear it to the court on weekends and out to pizza with the gang.

Will soon be available in 3 graphic prints.
